Abstract

Our world today is heading along the path and at the pace towards irreversible destruction, where wars, famines, chronic accumulation of wastes, chemical and biological weapons, scientific and medical mishaps, abuses, manipulations,, pollutions and corruptions give rise to depressions, suicides, diseases and cancers of the body, mind, heart, spirit, soul, society and the environment. Humans' tampering have given rise to microscopic and macroscopic destructions to the point that humanity is emotionally, physically, intellectually, psychologically and spiritually lost and unsustainable. The Qur'an calls these as FASAD. The presentation discusses a Qur'anic integration framework in providing long term solutions to the above predicament through education.

Additional Information:	The organiser, TLP Wisdom Foundation is based in Hyderabad, India. It runs a chain of private schools students of all religious denominations, based on Islamic principles. Earlier, I visited the school and had made a presentation on the Ulu'l-Albaab model for integrating science and the Worldview of the Qur'an. The Webinar is a follow-up from this initial visit.
