Abstract
This specific module is an evidence-based program developed based on evidence gathered and analysed from authentic hadith and validated by experimental research to provide practical solutions to practitioners in education and psychology. This module aims at raising awareness of our daily habits of communication and the need to change the wrong and reinforce the right habits especially the words that we use in communicating. Word is so powerful that it can change one’s emotion in a split second. Word is so sharp that it can cut the heart into pieces and significantly influences behaviour. Therefore, continuously bombarding someone with the wrong kind of words would reinforce undesirable behaviour. Prophet Muhammad is an epitome of a man with perfect moral behaviour which means that all aspects of his life are for us to emulate. Many have written about Prophet as a leader, husband, father, commander, and so on but rarely have we found literature that explicates the Prophet as an excellent communicator. If practising Prophet’s way of life as sunnah, therefore practising his ways of communication is also sunnah; and his sunnah is effective in promoting good behaviour.
