Abstract

Penulisan Arab ketika zaman Rasulullah masih lagi belum sempurna seperti tanpa titik untuk membezakan antara huruf yang sama seperti ج, ح dan خ, begitu juga ش dan س . Buktinya adalah tulisan tangan dari utusan rasulullah ke Habsyah dan Rom tanpa titik dan harakah. Ini terjadi kerana al Quran pada mulanya dihafal. Tapi apabila penghafaz-penghafaz ini telah meninggal dunia dan mati shahid di medan perang, maka tidak ada dokumen dalam bentuk penulisan.
