Abstract

Tujuan kajian ini adalah untuk membantu pelajar bahasa Arab di Jabatan Bahasa Arab dan Kesusasteraan, Universiti Islam Antarabangsa Malaysia (UIAM) dalam mempelajari ‘Ilmu al-Bayan’ dengan mereka bentuk prototaip perisian kursus untuk mereka. Kajian ini dijalankan dengan menggunakan metodologi deskriptif dan analitikal yang sistematik, di mana pendekatan deskriptif memerlukan pengkaji mengumpul maklumat tentang ‘Ilmu al-Bayan’ dan teori-teori pembelajaran melalui blog pendidikan. Di samping itu, terdapat beberapa peringkat prosedur saintifik dalam pendekatan analisis. Pertama sekali, analisis keperluan pelajar telah dijalankan sebelum fasa reka bentuk. Kedua, analisis semakan pakar telah dijalankan semasa fasa reka bentuk. Peringkat seterusnya ialah analisis keputusan ujian pra dan pasca yang dilakukan oleh pelajar. Akhir sekali, analisis penilaian formatif oleh pelajar selepas selesai fasa pembangunan juga dijalankan. Satu prototaip perisian kursus khas dalam pembelajaran ‘Ilmu al-Bayan’ telah direka bentuk dengan menggunakan blog pendidikan, berdasarkan model reka bentuk pengajaran ADDIE dalam proses reka bentuk dan pembangunan berdasarkan keperluan, pendapat dan cadangan pelajar. Peserta kajian ini adalah seramai 60 orang pelajar (27 orang pelajar telah dipilih semasa fasa analisis keperluan dan 33 orang pelajar telah dipilih semasa ujian pra dan pasca dan juga semasa fasa penilaian). Dua orang pakar telah dipilih daripada bidang Computer Assisted Instruction (CAI) dan Retorik Arab semasa fasa analisis keperluan. Hasil kajian ini menunjukkan majoriti pelajar bersikap positif terhadap pembelajaran ‘Ilmu al-Bayan’ melalui blog pendidikan yang meningkatkan keinginan dan motivasi belajar mereka, di samping meningkatkan pemahaman dan prestasi mereka dalam mempelajari subjek ini. ************************************* This study aims to help Arabic language learners at the Department of Arabic Language and Literature of International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) learn the ‘Science of al-Bayan’ by designing a prototype courseware. This study was conducted by using systematic descriptive and analytical methodologies, where the descriptive approach required the researcher to gather information about the ‘Science of al-Bayan’ and theories of learning through an educational blog. In addition, the analytical approach had several stages of scientific procedures. First and foremost, learners’ needs analysis was conducted before the phase of design. Secondly, an experts’ review analysis was conducted during the design phase. The next stage was the analysis of the results of pre-and post-tests done by learners. Lastly, the analysis of formative evaluation by the learners after the completion of the development phase was also conducted. A special prototype courseware in learning ‘Science of al-Bayan’ was designed by using an educational blog, based on the ADDIE instructional design model in the design and development process based on students’ needs, opinions, and suggestions. The participants of this study were 60 students (27 students were selected during the needs analysis phase and 33 students were chosen during the pre- and posttests and also during the evaluation phase). Two experts were selected from the field of Computer Assisted Instruction (CAI) and Arabic Rhetoric during the needs analysis phase. The results of this study showed that the majority of the students were positive about learning ‘Science of al-Bayan’ through the educational blog which increased their learning desires and motivation, while at the same time improved their understanding and performance in learning this subject
