Abstract

The present issue highlights another group of rationales for Islamisation, which al-Marḥūm Professor Dr. M. Kamal Hassan classified as “A.2. The Necessity and Urgency of Fulfilling the Mission of IOHK. According to IIUM’s Constitution”. “A.2.1 The philosophical/metaphysical basis of the Mission” lists six principles: 1. The Principle of IQRĀ’, 2. The Principle of TAWḤῑD, 3. The principle of AMĀNAH, 4. The principle of KHILĀFAH, 5. The principle of IBĀDAH, 6. The principle of TAZKIYAH AL-NAFS.
