Abstract
Ismail Raji al-Faruqi (Ismail Raji al-Faruqi , 1921–86) was a distinguished scholar of Islam and religion and one of the most prolific and influential Muslim scholars of the modern age. He made lasting contributions to the study of Islam and comparative religion in the areas of the history and phenomenology of religion, Islamic thought, and interfaith dialogue.
