Dr. S M Afzal Hoq

I am an Assistant Professor at the International Islamic University Malaysia, in the Department of Science in Engineering within the Faculty of Engineering. Previously, I served as a Senior Lecturer at Sultan Idris Education University (UPSI) from July 2023 to February 2024 in the Department of Mathematics. I hold a PhD in Engineering from the International Islamic University Malaysia, specializing in Mechanical Engineering. My academic background includes a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics, both from the University of Chittagong, Bangladesh. My research focuses on nonlinear partial differential equations, with interests in heat transfer, structural analysis, fluid-solid interaction, fluid flow problems, and biomedical analysis. I have authored several articles in these areas throughout my career.
