Abstract

The multi-dimensional problems of Sungai Pusu needs a multi-dimensional as well as a trans-disciplinary approach not only in understanding, but most importantly in solving the issue. The Centre for Islamisation, IIUM looks at this problem from the long-term spiritual and educational perspective as given by the Qur'an. This presentation highlights what the Qur'an terms as "FASAD", as well as the key components that need attention in educating the communities of Sungai Pusu, and the general public, so that the problem may be addressed from its roots.
