Abstract
It is undisputable among entire scholars that Sunnah is considered as a legal evidence that leads to knowing Islamic legal rulings, as it is considered as a proof and argument that the scholar relies on it his juristic deduction on contemporary issues. The relation between Sunnah and other legal evidences is among issues discussed in the matter of how to deal with it, because the rank and order of Sunnah among these evidences effect many issues in principles of Islamic Jurisprudence and its branches. Thus, this study attempts to reveal the position of Sunnah in juristic deduction among scholars, and its reality in their study and research. Taking into consideration that any issues in principles of Islamic Jurisprudence will have consequences in the opinion of jurists in juristic issues. This study relies on two method, inductive method in collecting data related to the subject, and analytical method in analyzing the collected data
