Abstract
• Regular exercise has great benefits on improving the risk of all-cause mortality and chronic medical diseases. 1 • American College of Obstetrics and Gynecologists (ACOG) recommends that uncomplicated pregnancies should engage in moderate-intensity exercise 30 minutes per day or more on most or all days of the week before, during and after pregnancy. 2 • The objective of this review is to comprehensively assess, determine and provide an update on the latest evidence regarding the effects of structured physical activity on maternal health and fetal outcomes
