Abstract

Along with the development of the financial technology industry and the rapid use of the internet in Indonesia, Islamic crowd-investing, which is sharia-based crowd funding, is a new method of funding, individually and in groups / organizations, to enliven this digital financial service institution. This study finding out the relationship Islamic crowd-investing on agriculture through exploring and analyzing the Islamic crowd-investing platform and to describe the importance and benefits of sustainable agriculture in Indonesia. Funding platforms for agriculture are still relatively small in Indonesia; however the potential of this sector is still very high, due to the large number of demands and a large market. Narrative literature review research method is used in this study, specifically to review of literature retrieved from searches computerized databases, hand searches, and authoritative texts related to Islamic crowd-investing and sustainable agriculture. We classified Islamic crowd-investing project on agriculture into 3 stages related to platforms and 3 types related to the agricultural sector itself. This study showed a strong relationship explanation that financial technology such as Islamic crowd-investing has an important role not only in terms of funding but how to achieve sustainable agriculture as well as having an impact on the environment and all to potentiate in the agricultural sector itself. This research, it is hoped that it can be used as material for consideration for parties such as investors, stakeholders and shareholders in agriculture as well as farmers and society involved to make decisions so that sustainable agriculture is realized by optimizing the Islamic crowd-investing system.
