Abstract
Program akademik Ijazah Sarjana Muda Pendidikan (ISMP) Pengajaran Arab Bahasa Sebagai Bahasa Kedua (TASL) telah ditawarkan di kebanyakan universiti awam (UA) di Malaysia dengan pelbagai struktur pengajian (study plan) bergantung kepada falsafah universiti dan fakulti yang menawarkannya. Kajian ini dijalankan dalam kalangan para pelajar Universiti Islam Antarabangsa Malaysia (UIAM) yang mengambil pengkhususan Pendidikan dalam Pengajaran Bahasa Arab Sebagai Bahasa Kedua (TASL) daripada tahun 1 hingga 4 di Kulliyyah Pendidikan (KOED) bagi mengkaji keberkesanan dan maklum balas para pelajar terhadap program akademik yang telah ditawarkan. .Responden kajian ini dipilih daripada kalangan para pelajar Bahasa Arab yang mengambil subjek Metodologi Penyelidikan EDC 3199 dalam semester 2, 2017/2018 dan semester 1, 2018/2019 yang berjumlah 99 orang. Instrumen kajian yang digunakan ialah soal selidik yang terdiri daripada soalan tertutup (close-ended) dan terbuka (open-ended) yang diadaptasi daripada kajian lampau. Secara umumnya, para pelajar berpuas hati dengan penawaran kursus ini di samping turut memberikan cadangan penambahbaikan untuk program ini pada masa hadapan. ************************************** The academic programme in Bachelor of Education in Teaching Arabic As a Second Language (TASL) has been offered in most public universities in Malaysia with a variety of study plans depending on the university's philosophy and the faculty that are offering the programme. This study was conducted among students of International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) who are specializing in education in Teaching Arabic As A Second Language (TASL) from year 1 to 4 in Kulliyyah of Education (KOED) to study its effectiveness and students’ feedback on the offered academic programs. The respondents of this study were selected among 70 of Arabic students who registered for the course of EDC 3199 in Research Methodology in semester 2, 2017/2018. The employed instrument was a questionnaire comprising closed-ended and open-ended questions adapted from previous studies. Generally, students are satisfied with the offering of this course as well as suggesting improvements for the programme in the future.
