Abstract

Epik Gilgamesh merupakan tulisan paling awal yang dijumpai pada tahun 1862 yang mempunyai sebelas (11)tablet, setiap bait mempunyai 300 baris. Para ahli archeologi percaya ini merupakan batu bersurat yang paling lengkap sekali pernah dijumpai dimana perceritaan dari manuskript ini terlalu detail dan lengkap jalan penceritaannya, tidak seperti manuskrip-manuscript lain yang tidak lengkap ataupun manuskripnya itu rosak.
