Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aims at exposing the side effects and harm of drugs on human health in general and human mind in particular. The research is based on the objectives of the Quran forbidding this issue in order to reveal its clandestine and objectives which has emerged as an Islamic approach with a vast experience and as role model in changing human being. On the other hand, the research contributes to the clarification of the relationship and the Objective of the prohibition of drugs, and honouring of the mind, in discussing about the mind and its importance, and the purposes of the Quran aiming at preserve it, and the effects and damages that it causes while consuming drugs. This research has used an inductive approach to collect the evidences from the Quran and other proofs related to the subject of the research, then the analytical method is used for the analysis of these texts, evidences and statements, in order to derive the wisdoms and Objectives behind it. The research has come up with many findings, which include: The objectives of the Quran which represents the fundamentals of Islam and the foundations of its creed and Sharia, and therefore contain elements of stability, and harmony in empowering the Islamic thought in various aspects, including the fact that the size of the disastrous effects of drug abuse evident in the proliferation of social ills lethal in the community like embezzlement of money, and damage caused to the health, social and effectspsychological.Therefore,this leads us to say that the wisdom of the Quran and objectives of the prohibition are extremely clear .The `principle of the pros and cons seem evident when raised on the issue of the prohibition of alcohol, which confirms our keen Quranic approach aimed at achieving happiness and success for every human being. .
