Abstract

This article focuses on the idea of Islamic Literature which began in the Arab world through the writings of Muhammad Qutb, Syed Qutb, Najib al-Kilani, Emaduddin Khalil and a few others who came after them, influenced by their ideas. Later, concepts or theories of Islamic Literature began to take shape among the writers. In Malaysia, the concept was presented by Syed Muhammad Naquib Al-‘Attas who said that a writer must have a balanced views in the soul, body and mind. After him, there was Affandi Hassan who came up with something unconventional on the theory of Islamic literature. A number of other writers also tried to conceptualize the Islamic literature such as Shafie Abu Bakar, Kamala, ‘Ali Ahmad, Uthman el-Muhammady and Muhammad Kamal Hasan who tried to come up with the realistic view on Islamic literature based on what was suggested by another writer, Shahnon Ahmad. Another scholar, Kasssim Ahmad tried to dwell on the issue of methodology in Islamic literature. Ismail Ibrahim, another scholar, suggested that Islamic literature must stand on the principle of the unity of God (tawheed). This paper intends to study the concept of Islamic Literature and its development among the Arab and Malay writers. A comparative study on the similarities and differences of these concepts will also be a focus. Keywords: Islamic Literature, concept, differences, similarities الملخص هذه المقالة تتركز عن بداية فكرة الأدب الإسلامي في العالم العربي على يد الأديب الأستاذ محمد قطب، والأديب الشهيد سيد قطب، ، والدكتور عماد الدين خليل، والأديب الدكتور نجيب الكيلاني، وغيرهم ممن جاء بعدهم وتأثر بهم أو خالفهم، أو أضاف إلى ما ذكروه من نظرية الأدب الإسلامي، وأدى هذا من ثمّ إلى ظهور الأدب الإسلامي في النظريات التي قدمها الأدباء العرب أنفسهم. أما الأدب الإسلامي بماليزيا فقد قدّم له الأستاذ سيد نقيب العطاس، في فكرته عن الرؤية العالمية الإسلامية؛ حيث أن يبيّن أن للأديب توازناً نفسياً في ثلاثة عناصر هي: الروح، والجسم، والعقل، ثم جاء من بعده الأدباء الماليزيون مثل: رجاء أفندي حسن الذي أتى بشيء مغاير في عرض موضوع منهج الأدب الإسلامي، ثم ما ذهب إليه الدكتور شافعي أبو بكر، والأديب كمالا (أحمد كمال عبد الله)، والأديب علي أحمد (آلس مورني)، وما قدّمه الأستاذ محمد عثمان المحمدي، والأستاذ الدكتور كمال حسن للموضوع، ولكنه استطاع أن يحقق إسهاماً كبيراً في مجال التنظير للأدب الإسلامي، ومن خلال المنهج الذي عرضه شحنون أحمد، يتضح لدينا أنه يحاول أن يقدم لنا "النظرية الواقعية" للأدب الإسلامي، وأما قاسم أحمد فأراد أن يستشكل في قضية "منهج الأدب الإسلامي"، ويرى إسماعيل إبراهيم أن الأدب الإسلامي لا بدَّ أن يُبنى على "التوحيد، وغيرهم. سوف تبحث هذه الدراسة في مفهوم الأدب الإسلامي وتطوراته منذ بداياته لدى الأدباء العرب، ثم تتناول موقف الأدباء الماليزيين من مفهوم الأدب الإسلامي، وسوف تعقد المقارنة بين المفهومين من حيث: أوجه التشابه في الفلسفة الجمالية للأدب، ومن حيث أوجه الاختلاف في كيفية نظرة الأديب إلى فكرة الأدب اإسلامي من وجهة نظره الخاصة، وفي الإنتاج في الأدب الإسلامي.
