Abstract

Pandangan arus perdana berpaksi Eropah-Yunanimengenai asal-usul pemikiran Yunani purbasemakin dilihat bermasalah bila disuluhi hasil kajiansemula terhadap teks-teks Yunani klasik, sejarahperbandingan pemikiran serta teori sistem dunia,dan kini dalam proses dirumuskan semula. Dalammakalah ini, masalah ini ditinjau dengan merujukkepada sudutpandang kesarjanaan Islam klasikdan membandingkannya dengan hasil pandanganperumusan semula.
