Abstract

Shopping experiences are becoming insurgent, from conventional supermarkets all the way to bringing the shelf and checkout counters to virtual platforms. The use of technologies that seemed to be impossible to achieve in the past is now within reach for people to perform. The advancement of technologies made through countless numbers of studies and research on how humans interact with technologies has made the world a better place, a world where traditional methods are becoming insignificant to mankind. However, the use of wireless technologies that work with Radio Frequency (RF) and e-wallet helps the derivative method stay relevant by ensuring the business owner preserves security and ease of payment control, and the consumer lessens the irritation when shopping. This paper demonstrates the implementation, along with its advantages and challenges, of how using RF and e-Wallet helps industrialist and end user to ease their derivative task in grocery shopping.
