Abstract
Kajian ini bertujuan mengenal pasti skematik dalam ayat dialog surah Yusuf. Analisis wacana digunakan bagi mengenal pasti skematik dalam kisah yang dikaji. Proses analisis yang dilakukan adalah berdasarkan teori induktif yang menggabungkan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Pendekatan kualitatif digunakan bagi mengenal pasti skematik yang terdapat pada dialog dalam surah Yusuf. Elemen-elemen skematik yang telah dikenal pasti tersebut digunakan sebagai panduan bagi pendekatan kuantitatif yang digunakan. Pendekatan kuantitatif digunakan untuk menentukan peratusan jenis dan bilangan penjuru dialog. Hasil kajian menunjukkan terdapat 26 dialog dalam surah Yusuf dengan dialog dua hala mendominasi kisah Nabi Yusuf AS. Pemilihan watak dialog pula melibatkan hanya manusia, manakala struktur dialog terdiri daripada permulaan, perkembangan dan peleraian. ***** The study aims to identify the superstructure (schematic) of the dialogue in surah Yusuf. To identify the schematic in the story, discourse analysis is used as a tool to analyse it. The analysis process was based on inductive theory combining qualitative and quantitative approaches. The qualitative approach was used to identify the schematic in the dialogue. The identified schematic elements served as a reference for the quantitative approach. The quantitative approach was utilised to calculate the percentage of the type and quantity of dialogues. The results demonstrate that two-way discussion predominates the narrative of the Prophet Joseph in 26 of the surah’s dialogues. The dialogues which feature only human interaction consist of a three-part structure; the beginning, development and resolution.
