Abstract

The presentation translated the Philosophy, Vision and Mission of the IIUM, stressing on the University's Raison de'Etre, which is Islamisation. The seven mission statements, which is traditionally crystallised, as stated in the University' s Constitution, as Integration, Islamisation/Islamicisation, Internationalisation and Comprehensive Excellence are also explained in the context of the University's Raison d'Etre. The project of Islamisation is very much a necessary ummatic endeavour, in the wake of contemporary crises of humanity and environmental degradations. Relevantisation is also included in the presentation, as well as touching upon the other components of the Insan Sejahtera Module.

Additional Information:	There have been 2 Insan Sejahtera TOTs listed here in Gombak (IS-TOT 1) in December 2019 and in Kuantan (IS-TOT 2) in February 2020. The Insan Sejahtera Module consists of 4 basic components, namely IIICE, FPK, Maqasid al-Shari'ah and SDGs. Over time, these have been developed further to include several other components.
