Abstract

This research seeks to explore the efficacy of Facebook application in Islamic Da‘wah activities during COVID-19 Pandemic within a limited period of time starting from March until July 2021. The main objective of this study is to analyze the content of selected Facebook accounts used for conveying the Islamic Message to others and its significance relies on revealing their effectiveness in the midst of COVID-19 outbreak. The descriptive and analytical methods are used in this study. The focus of discussion is on the meaning of Facebook application, its reliability and efficacy for Islamic Da‘wah purposes, and the analysis of the main themes posted on these accounts. This study expects to provide new insights about the efficacy of Facebook applications, which will enable the Muslims to use them appropriately for Islamic Da‘wah purposes.
