Abstract
The healthcare landscape continues to face unprecedented challenges, and global health emergencies underscore the need for clear, effective, and accessible communication. As healthcare professionals on the frontlines, nurses play a vital role in managing these crises, not only through direct patient care but also by providing accurate and timely information to the public and other healthcare providers. In this regard, robust risk communication skills are essential. This book was born from the author's doctoral research, which sought to bridge this critical gap by developing a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) on risk communication tailored for nurses.
