Abstract
Penyelia sebagai kompas akademik: membimbing dengan jelas, membina jangkaan, dan memberi maklum balas berhemah supaya pelajar kekal di landasan penyelidikan. Kepekaan awal terhadap tanda burnout dan imposter syndrome, serta membantu rujukan kaunseling ketika perlu untuk selamatkan kemajuan akademik pelajar. Sistem sokongan menyeluruh diperlukan: pelan kerja jelas, pengawasan berkala, sistem amaran institusi dan pelajar proaktif demi tamat tepat masa.
