Abstract

يتناول هذا المقال مفهوم الحضور الثقافي بوصفه ممارسة معرفية وإنسانية تتجاوز حدود المحافظة على التراث أو تكديس المعرفة، لتتحول إلى فعل حضاري قائم على التفاعل والحوار والإسهام في بناء الوعي المجتمعي. ويناقش المقال العلاقة بين المعرفة والممارسة الثقافية، ودور المؤسسات الأكاديمية والثقافية في تعزيز الهوية، وتنشيط التواصل الفكري، وترسيخ قيم الانفتاح والتكامل المعرفي. كما يسلّط الضوء على أهمية الأنشطة العلمية والثقافية في بناء فضاء معرفي فاعل يربط بين الفكر والمجتمع، مع الإشارة إلى تجربة مركز البحوث والدراسات العُمانية – ماليزيا (ORSC) بوصفها نموذجًا للحضور الثقافي المؤسسي القائم على الحوار والتعاون والتفاعل الحضاري. This article examines the concept of cultural presence as an intellectual and human practice that transcends the mere preservation of heritage or accumulation of knowledge, transforming instead into a civilizational act grounded in interaction, dialogue, and contribution to the development of social awareness. The article discusses the relationship between knowledge and cultural practice, as well as the role of academic and cultural institutions in strengthening identity, stimulating intellectual communication, and promoting the values of openness and cognitive integration. It also highlights the importance of scientific and cultural activities in creating an active intellectual space that connects thought with society, with particular reference to the experience of the Omani Research & Studies Center – Malaysia (ORSC) as a model of institutional cultural presence founded on dialogue, cooperation, and civilizational interaction.
