Md. Abdus Salam is currently working as a Professor of Parasitology, Department of Basic Medical Sciences, Kulliyyah of Medicine, International Islamic University Malaysia. Before resuming this position, he served two years as Professor & HoD of Microbiology, Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College, Bogura, Bangladesh, a second generation public medical college. He also served at the College of Medicine- Jeddah of King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences, KSA from June 2015 to June 2017 as a faculty in Microbiology. He has worked for nearly 18 years as a faculty in Microbiology including 5 years as an Associate Professor at the Rajshahi Medical College, one of the ancient public medical colleges in Bangladesh with avenues for both undergrad and graduate studies.
