Dr Nik Nur Fatnoon Nik Ahmad

Dr Nik Nur Fatnoon Nik Ahmad is an academician and consultant physician (internal medicine/occupational health) has an extensive knowledge and experience in clinical research with particular emphasis on drugs and medical devices. In view of her active involvement in industry sponsored research, her names have been appeared repeatedly in the journals. In addition to her active involvement as a clinical researcher, she has been appointed as Advisor for Good Clinical Practice in her University and Medical Advisor at IIUM Bioequivalent Study Centre. She is also Head, Department of Education and Research; Director, Clinical Research Centre; Section Editor, IIUM Medical Journal Malaysia; and Secretariat, National Conjoint Board for MaMeds of Internal Medicine. Previously she was Chairman, Clinical Trial Unit; Head (of Research; Head of Unit, Safety and Health Committee; Secretary, Kulliyyah Research Committee; committee member; Medical Education Unit; Program Coordinator, MBS Program and and Clinical Coordinator, BDS Program. Her membership in professional bodies include Malaysian Medical Association (MMA/Life Member), Islamic Medical Association of Malaysia (IMAM/Life Member), National Specialist Resister (NSR), and National Medical Research Register. She is also actively contributing to community by being an exco for "Women, Teenagers, and Children" in Pertubuhan Amal Perubatan Ibnu Sinna Malaysia (PAPISMA). In view of her dedication and commitment, she has received many awards and recognition includes: Most Active Investigator Award (Pahang Research Day/2017), Top 250 Contributors, IIUM Research Performance (MyRA/2017), Most Active Investigator Award (Pahang Research Day/2015), Gold Medal (IIUM Research, Invention and Innovation Exhibition/2013), Best Teacher Award/University Level (Quality Day/2009), Best Teacher Award/Faculty Level (Quality Day/2009), Bronze Medal (Third Research and Innovation Exhibition/2009), and Bronze Medal (Third Research and Innovation Exhibition/2008). She has also received Long Service Award (15 Years) during IIUM Staff Appreciation Ceremony 2016 held at Cultural Activity Centre (CAC), IIUM Gombak on December 2nd, 2016 for her loyalty with IIUM.
