Sporotrichosis is infection caused by dimorphic fungus Sporothrix schenckii. It occurs worldwide especially tropical and subtropical zone. It manifests as lymphocutaneous skin, fixed cutaneous or disseminated lesion following exposure to contaminated source like animals, plants, or abiotic components.
