Abstract
It is undeniable reality that the Qur’an has not only addressed the concept of real purification and its types but also provided the principal guidelines of means for tangible and intangible cleanliness. It is important for the believers to follow these Qur’anic guidelines as they have remained the benchmarks set by Allah for His acceptance of good deeds and conferring rewards. The significant details of the principal guidelines of cleanliness are further elaborated by Muslim scholars and jurist in many jurisprudential compendiums with more varied set of their cohesive ideas and interpretive tools.
