Abstract

The need of waqf sukuk in the world current situation is more than ever before, the covid-19 pandemic has a message to the whole world that we should be prepared to stand to one another, and one of the most vital things to be taken into account in this situation is food security. It is obvious that due to the pandemic, many families lost their jobs, and many farmers have not been able to cultivate the necessary food needed for their consumptions or for the market need, either due to the movement restrictions oh due to the cash floor constraint which occurred as a result of the slow economic activities worldwide. For the world to overcome the shortfall in the world food production, there must be a special strategy to be adopted to avoid future calamities on top of the health issues. The proposed waqf sukuk structures are to help in the financing process and proposed the of Blockchain technology to actualize economic inclusiveness, achieve transparency and fast solutions.
