Abstract
This paper presents a brief history of Ottoman study at IIUM from 1990 to the present. Further, it defines Ottoman study in a wider sense and identify the key themes and essential requirements for its growth and development. Finally, through a survey of the existing curriculum at IIUM, it proposes preliminary postgraduate curriculum at IIUM.
