Abstract

Globally, the population of the elderly aged 60 and above is rapidly increasing (Ageing, n.d.). This phenomenon causes many issues in family institutions especially regarding their caretaking effort. This also affects the social circumstances as most systems and services provided by the government seems to be less friendly for the senior citizens rather than the majority.
