Abstract

It is essential to understand the constitution and its history since the history provides the background of the agreed terms in the constitution. The paper seeks to explain the passage of the Malaysian constitution and its significance to the understanding of its provision. The paper highlights conflicting understanding of the constitution that could be averted by referring to the tradition of constitution.
