Abstract
This paper discusses the bilateral relations between two nations namely China and Malaysia particularly in the areas of politics, economics and culture. By and large, their relationship kicks-off from more than thirty years ago, following a historic visit by the late second Prime Minister of Malaysia, Tun Abdul Razak to the People's Republic of China (PRC). The paper first explains the push and pull factors of the move towards this collaboration. Following this, it highlights the various approaches and mechanism undertaken by both economies in promoting and strengthening their cooperation.
