Abstract
This article explores the "Travelling Through Time Virtually" project, an initiative designed to preserve Malaysia's national heritage using Augmented Reality (AR) to engage the digital-native generation. Led by Dr. Mohd Saipuddin Suliman, the project utilizes the Blippar application to transform static physical artifacts into interactive 3D models accessible via smartphones. This "edutainment" approach effectively addresses the high costs of physical exhibit maintenance and low museum attendance by providing borderless, hands-on historical exploration. Having earned international accolades, the collaboration underscores the vital role of modern technology in bridging the gap between traditional history and the fast-paced digital world to ensure cultural roots remain relevant for future generations.
