Abstract

يتناول هذا البحث ظاهرة التحوّل اللغوي بين العربية والملايوية لدى الطلبة الملايويين المتخصصين في اللغة العربية وآدابها في الجامعة الإسلامية العالمية بماليزيا، في بيئة لغوية متعددة ومتنوعة. وتبرز أهمية الدراسة في قلّة الأبحاث التي تناولت هذه الظاهرة في السياق الملايوي، رغم وجودها الواضح في الحياة الجامعية واليومية للطلبة. وتهدف الدراسة إلى التعرف على أسباب استخدام التحوّل اللغوي، وتحليل انعكاساته على التجربة الأكاديمية والاجتماعية، واستقصاء تأثيره على كفاءتهم اللغوية بالعربية. وقد اعتمدت المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، وجُمعت البيانات عبر استبانة إلكترونية وزعت على 38 طالبًا وطالبة من مختلف المستويات الدراسية، ثم حُللت بالأساليب الإحصائية الوصفية. وأظهرت النتائج أن دوافع التحوّل اللغوي تتعلق بتسهيل الفهم والتعبير وتعزيز التفاعل الاجتماعي، وتبرز أكثر في المحادثات غير الرسمية، كما توجد علاقة بين معدل التحوّل ومستوى الثقة الأكاديمية لدى الطلبة، مع اختلاف آرائهم حول أثره المباشر في الطلاقة بالعربية. وتُعد هذه الدراسة من الدراسات القليلة التي تناولت التحوّل اللغوي بين العربية والملايوية في السياق الجامعي، ما يثري الأدبيات اللغوية في هذا المجال. توصي الدراسة بضرورة توفير برامج دعم تربوي ولغوي تساعد الطلبة على تقوية مهاراتهم اللغوية بالعربية، وتحد من اعتمادهم المفرط على التحوّل اللغوي. ________________________________________________________ This study examines the phenomenon of code-switching between Arabic and Malay among Malay students specializing in Arabic language and literature at the International Islamic University Malaysia, within a multilingual and diverse linguistic environment. The study is significant due to the scarcity of research addressing this phenomenon in the Malaysian context, despite its evident presence in students’ academic and daily life. It aims to identify the reasons behind students’ use of code-switching, analyze its impact on their academic and social experiences, and explore its effect on their Arabic language proficiency. The study employed a descriptive-analytical method, collecting data via an online questionnaire distributed to 38 students across different academic levels, which was then analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques. The results indicate that the main motivations for code-switching are to facilitate understanding and expression and to enhance social interaction, and it occurs more frequently in informal conversations. Additionally, there is a relationship between the frequency of code-switching and students’ academic confidencealthough their views differ regarding its direct impact on Arabic fluency. This study is among the few that investigate Arabic-Malay code-switching in a university context, contributing valuable insights to the linguistic literature. The study recommends providing educational and linguistic support programs to help students strengthen their Arabic skills and reduce excessive reliance on code-switching.
