Abstract
هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى استكشاف مفاهيم التربية الاقتصادية لدى الأطفال في المدارس الابتدائية بمدينة جدة، وبيان العوامل المؤثرة في تشكيلها، إضافة إلى استكشاف مفاهيم التربية الاقتصادية لدى أولياء أمورهم. تنبع أهمية الدراسة من الدور الحيوي للتربية الاقتصادية في إعداد جيل واعٍ اقتصادياً، قادر على اتخاذ قرارات مالية سليمة في المستقبل. اعتمدت الدراسة على المنهج النوعي لتحقيق أهدافها، حيث تم إجراء مقابلات شبه منظمة مع عينة قصدية مكونة من 9 أطفال في المرحلة الابتدائية و5 من أولياء أمورهم في مدينة جدة، تم اختيار العينة بحيث تمثل تنوعاً في الخلفيات الاجتماعية والاقتصادية. تم تحليل البيانات باستخدام طرق التحليل الموضوعي، مع التركيز على استخراج المواضيع الرئيسية من المقابلات. أظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن الأطفال في المرحلة الابتدائية يمتلكون فهماً أساسياً للمفاهيم الاقتصادية، يتراوح بين البساطة والتعقيد حسب العمر والخبرات. شملت هذه المفاهيم فهم قيمة المال، ومبادئ الادخار والإنفاق، وبعض الأفكار الأساسية عن العمل والكسب. كما كشفت الدراسة عن الدور الأساسي للأسرة في تشكيل هذه المفاهيم، مع وجود تفاوت ملحوظ في ممارسات الأسر وأساليبهم في التربية الاقتصادية. ***** This study aimed to explore economic education concepts among children in primary schools in Jeddah, identify factors influencing their formation, and investigate economic education concepts held by their parents. The importance of the study stems from the vital role of economic education in preparing an economically aware generation capable of making sound financial decisions in the future. The study adopted a qualitative approach, conducting semi-structured interviews with a purposive sample of primary school children and of their parents in Jeddah. The sample was selected to represent diverse social and economic backgrounds. Data were analyzed using thematic analysis techniques, focusing on extracting patterns and main themes from the interviews. Results showed that primary school children possess a basic understanding of economic concepts, ranging from simple to complex depending on age and individual experiences. These concepts included understanding the value of money, principles of saving and spending, and some initial ideas about work and earning. The study revealed the pivotal role of the family in shaping these concepts, with notable variations in family practices and approaches to economic education.
