Abstract
Peer assessment is a critical component of collaborative learning, especially in group projects where evaluating individual contributions can be challenging. The "Workshop" activity in iTa’leem provides an effective and structured platform for implementing peer assessment in educational settings. It is a powerful tool for fostering reflective learning, promoting fairness in group assessments, and enhancing students' critical thinking skills. The Workshop activity in iTa’leem allows students to submit their contribution or reflection, which is then assessed by their peers based on predefined criteria. This dual-phase process—submission and assessment—engages students in both giving and receiving feedback, thereby encouraging a deeper understanding of the subject matter. Moreover, the Workshop module supports multiple grading strategies, including rubric-based assessments, making it adaptable to various pedagogical approaches.
