Abstract
Research and ethics are closely related subjects. In fact, the human endeavor to find new knowledge is validated based on the standards of right and wrong that prescribe what ought to be. Research is always conducted within a social context, and societal priorities have a direct impact on the funding and application of the research outcomes. This is why scientific conduct that does not comply with ethical standards is often questioned. This editorial review aims to briefly highlight the connection between research and ethics. It highlights concepts and styles of research methods, then addresses briefly ethical applications in certain research practices.
