Abstract
The article addresses the serious issue of Forgotten Baby Syndrome, where children are left unattended in vehicles, leading to tragic outcomes. It emphasizes the need for a comprehensive and proactive approach to understand and mitigate this problem. The discussion covers the influence of habitual and prospective memory on behavior and suggests that collaborative efforts are required from stakeholders, including the government, industry, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs). Technological solutions, such as smartphone applications, are proposed, and higher education institutions are encouraged to contribute to child safety technologies. Social interventions, coordinated by relevant government ministries and NGOs, are crucial for policy formulation and targeted actions. The article recommends a national campaign through various media platforms and emphasizes the role of NGOs in planning and executing support programs to raise awareness about child safety. In conclusion, sustained collaborative efforts are deemed essential to prevent such incidents and protect children from risks in society.
