Abstract

Family Medicine Handbook is the latest textbook on family medicine core topics written by family medicine academicians and is recommended for both undergraduates and postgraduates in the family medicine curriculum. It is also beneficial to any reader and medical personnel who would like to enhance their understandings of the principles and general approaches of primary care. This book aims to enlighten readers about the core knowledge in family medicine. The topics are highlighted in the realm of family medicine to enable readers to define primary care, identify the similarities and differences between tertiary and primary care, elaborate on the principles of family medicine and the role of family medicine specialists, especially for community and primary care.
