Abstract
Many quantitative empirical guidelines and expert opinions have been published to assist in patient management to minimize the fasting risks during Ramadan. However, minimal research have look into the qualitative subjective experiences of patients in fasting during Ramadan. The presentations discuss the qualitative meta-synthesis of experiences and views of people with diabetes during Ramadan fasting (Liao et al., 2020). 11 review studies were included in the meta-synthesis. 4 categories and 10 themes found from the meta-synthesis were presented. A way forward on patient management was also outlined.
