Abstract
The 1-hr presentation discusses mental health issues during pandemic, digital mental health interventions that are very much needed during the pandemic, protective factors of psychological distress (including psychological flexibility, self-compassion, and resilience). Discussion on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and its foundations are also presented. Next, the methodology of the study comprised module development of i-ACT For Life, a pilot study, and the main study was discussed. The results found that the i-ACT for Life is effective in reducing psychological distress and enhancing psychological flexibility, self-compassion, and resilience among at-risk young adults during COVID-19. Some limitations and suggestions for future research were also outlined.
