Abstract
The emergence of social media in the current era had a great impact on all areas of human life, including the educational field. These social media have distinctive features, which make them among the most effective and interactive educational tools in the teaching and learning process, thus benefiting teachers and their students. As a result, these social media platforms are used not only for individual communication, but also in educational institutions and universities as a teaching aid and complementary method to traditional education. Therefore, experts in this field began to rethink educational
techniques in the light of technological advancements. This standpoint motivates the researchers to conduct experimental descriptive research where one of the social media platforms; Instagram is used as an educational tool for teaching Nahu. This research aims to discover the university students’ attitudes towards using Instagram as an educational tool for teaching Nahu. Following the teaching experience in the virtual classroom, a questionnaire was distributed to learn their opinion of learning through Instagram, and SPSS was used to analyze the data. The most noteworthy findings of the study were that learning Nahu through Instagram was enjoyable, engaging, and appealing as most of the students participated in the virtual classroom activities. active participation are expected to be created as a result of the popularity of Instagram among youth, as it is the most popular and widely used among them.
