Abstract
The aim of the course (TPHM 4120) is to examine the tourist motivations to travel and the impacts of the exhibited behaviour on the places they visit. By examining how and why tourists behave as they do, this course aims to suggest the development of special interest tourism based on the tourists’ behaviour as exhibited by different nations Thus, students are required to survey Southeast Asian (SEA) tourists who have travelled to Malaysia. Based on the review of any tourism platform, e.g., TripAdvisor, students need to use their post-purchase evaluations to understand the pattern of travel behaviour of tourists and to make suggestions for special interest tourism (SIT) in low tourist arrival state in Malaysia.
