Abstract

Nowadays, Muslim population continue increases and the awareness about Halal obligation among the population also increases as well. This event consequently creates greater demand for halal products, and thus making halal products as a universal concern in global market. Profitable market and huge opportunities for halal business as part of international trade and many companies are looking at halal concept as a new platform for marketing. Consumers should clarify that every aspect of their food, including the origin, contents, ingredients and processing is done meeting along Shariah compliance which are healthier and nutritious as well as from halal origin.
