Abstract
Man is a steward of the environment and accountable to what he/she plans, designs and get built. Man also forgets that he/she him/herself is not indispensable to circumstances affecting him/her in the spectrum of life. What seems common sense and humane, now need countless measures in guidelines, policies and codes to remind him/her of the ordained responsibility as the stakeholders. The UIA Architecture for All and the ARCASIA Charter on Social Responsibility are initiatives made to rekindle architects, that with empathy in design, and the will to create a better world as an intent, socially inclusive, resilience and sustainability as envisaged, could achieve naturally.
