Abstract

A total of 86 participants, including students and teachers from SMK Bukit Kuching Tengah, visited the Kulliyyah of Information and Communication Technology (KICT) to take part in an engaging Ethical Design Workshop on 16 July 2025 (Wednesday) held at KICT Multipurpose Hall (MPH). The programme was designed to address two key challenges faced by the school (which were identified earlier) — students’ low motivation to attend school and the lack of ethical awareness in creative and technological design. The workshop aimed to help students become more interested in learning again and to show them that being creative also means being responsible and caring. It encouraged students to understand how knowledge, ethics, and innovation can work together to make a positive difference in their community
