Abstract

This "Masalah Pembelajaran Spesifik" (Specific Learning Disabilities) book has the advantage that the topics discussed in the field of special education with learning disabilities are almost the same as the special education field found in the curriculum at the Malaysian Teacher Education Institute. Concepts and definitions are clearly explained in this book. Characteristics, problems, and related interventions are also discussed in depth. As described in chapter four of this book, examples of interventions and methods of teaching specific learning problems are also provided to help teachers and prospective teachers prepare appropriate teaching and learning sessions. In particular, the title of the seven chapters in this book is Chapter 1, which is Learning Problems; Chapter 2, Dyslexia; Chapter 3, Identifying Dyslexic Children; Chapter 4, Interventions and Methods of Teaching Language to Dyslexic Children; Chapter 5, Interventions and Methods of Teaching Mathematics to Dyslexic Students; Chapter 6, Dyscalculia; and Chapter 7, Dysgraphia.
