Abstract

This quantitative study sought to measure the degree of availability of administrative transparency indicators in the Ministry of Education in the Sultanate of Oman, from the employees' point of view. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher followed the descriptive analytical approach. The study population included all workers in supervisory and executive positions in the general directorates of the Ministry of Education, which numbered (1285). The study sample consisted of (297) individuals, who were selected by stratified random method, according to Krejcie and Morgans' tables. The researcher prepared the study tool, which consisted of (59) phrases; It is divided into (6) domains. Statistical methods used: (SPSS), Pearson's correlation coefficient, and Cronbach's alpha, and descriptive analysis. The study findings revealed that; The of availability degree of of administrative transparency indicators in the Ministry of Education; was generally average from the employees' point of view. the administrative transparency indicators for almost all fields came to a medium degree. The highest rank was the "Administrative Communication" domain with a mean (2.94), followed by the "Information" domain with a mean (2.86); Then the field of "laws, regulations, and regulations" with an average of (2.81); It was followed by the field of "making and decision-making" with an average of (2.74); Followed by "administrative accountability" with an average of (2.60); As for the field of "performance evaluation", it came to a low degree with a mean of (2.37).
