ترجمة النصوص الاستعارية القرآنية إلى اللغة التاميلية: دراسة تحليلية لغوية = Translating qur’anic metaphors into the Tamil language: a linguistics analysis study

Abstract

يهدف هذا البحث إلى تقصّي الأساليب التي اتخذها المترجمون المسلمون في ترجمة الاستعارات القرآنية إلى التاميلية في ضوء نظرية لارسون في ترجمة التعبيرات المجازية، مع عناية خاصة بتحرّي مستويات القراء في فهم المجازات القرآنية المترجمة إليها، وذلك في محاولة لإفهام المسلمين الناطقين بغير العربية المدلول الصحيح للآيات القرآنية، ولتحقيق هذا اختار الباحث عشرة أمثلة من نصوص الاستعارات، متوسِّلاً ثلاثة مناهج؛ المنهج الوصفي الذي يسعى إلى بيان مفهوم المجازات والترجمة والعلاقات بينهما والنظريات التي تتعلق بهما من منظور الدرس اللغوي القديم والحديث، والمنهج التحليلي الذي يساعد في تحليل أمثلة تلك المجازات القرآنية لغويًّا وبلاغيًّا، وبيان مدى فهمها لدى المتلقين، في حين أن المنهج المقارن يوازن بين الأساليب الـمُتّبعة في النسخ المختارة، وتوصل البحث إلى نتائج منها أن هناك مواضع اتفق فيها كلٌّ من المترجمين على أسلوب واحد في ترجمة الاستعارات القرآنية، وهناك حالات أخرى تجانست فيها الترجمتان معًا، في حين تباينت أساليبهم في موضع واحد؛ لأن التشابه أكثر من التباين، وأن أساليب الترجمة التي اتخذها كلٌّ من المترجمين استوفت المعنى المقصود كليًّا أو نِسْبيًّا أو جزئيًّا في كثير من المواضع، وهناك مواضع لم تستوف المعنى المراد من النص الأصلي، مما يدل على أن الاعتماد على أسلوب واحد فقط غير كافٍ في ترجمة المجازات القرآنية إلى اللغة التاميلية، وإن أحدًا من القراء لم يرفض هذه الترجمات، وإنما اقترح بعضهم تراجم أخرى تناسب تلك الترجمة، ولعل هذا البحث يفسح المجال لبحوث ترجمة المجازات القرآنية، وغيرها من الترجمات القرآنية إلى التاميلية.. ___________________________________________________________ This research aims to investigate the methods adopted by Muslim translators in translating Quranic metaphors into Tamil, applying Mildrin Larsson's theory of translating metaphorical expressions, with special attention to investigating the levels of readers in understanding the Quranic metaphors translated into it. This is an attempt to make non-Arabic-speaking Muslims understand the correct meaning of the Quranic verses. There are three approaches; The descriptive approach seeks to clarify the concept of metaphors, translation and the relationship between them and the theories related to them from the perspective of the ancient and modern linguistic lesson. The analytical approach helps in analyzing examples of those Quranic metaphors linguistically and rhetorically and showing the extent of their understanding by the recipients Crucially, comparative approach balances the methods used in selected copies of the qur'anic translations. The research produced several new findings. Firstly, there are places in which each of the translators agreed on one method in translating Quranic metaphors, and in several other instances two translations were consistent with each other, while their methods differed in one place. Because the similarity is more than the contrast. The translation methods adopted by each of the translators fully or partially fu lfilled the intended meaning in many places, and there are places that did not fulfil the intended meaning of the original text, which indicates that relying only on one method is not sufficient in translating Quranic metaphors into Tamil. None of the readers rejected these translations, but some of them suggested other translations that are suitable for that translation, and perhaps this research opens the way for research on translating Quranic metaphors, and other Quranic translations into Tamil
