Abstract
The case study appraises Seoul Forest Park, focusing on its design, features, and impact on the community. The purpose of the study is to analyze how the park integrates natural and man-made elements to provide a multifunctional urban space that enhances the quality of life for residents and visitors. The approach involves examining various park components, including softscape elements like themed gardens and ecological fields, and hardscape features such as pathways, boardwalks, and cultural venues. The results highlight the park's success in promoting physical and mental well-being through outdoor activities, fostering community cohesion with social and cultural events, and advancing environmental education and conservation efforts. The study concludes that Seoul Forest Park is a model of urban planning, offering recreational, educational, and ecological benefits that contribute to a greener and more sustainable city environment.
